A previous reference:

L.v. Smith, Maximilian Mazzola, Guerra Yakshini, Chris Nicolas, Rhg Losangeles, Jonathan Blair, Antezana Brian, Eric Febre, Neil McEvilly, Gagan Bisla, Estefania Yo wanted to inform you that we will be scheduling to meet in the upcoming weeks, further it is good idea to make sure your brief portfolio is up to date on the site, the web layout will have a cleaner resume look (being redesigned, this site is for functionality, communication, and data entry so it wnt be too aesthetic however the content we upload should demonstrate and validate our creativity), further by the end of this week, we should have the @JBTalent.Info email automized. It is done thru outlook so skype features will also be accessible.

For those who do have a solid portfolio, we will create shortcuts to your profile such as in my case ChitTun.JBTalent.Info

The logo has not been finalyzed but when it is at your request we will create talent cards, etc.

To conclude I would like to have all future communications take place here: http://www.jbtalent.info/apps/
forums/ within the appropriate categories and topics, also via the @JBTalent.Info email account or thru voice call via skype.

In general every month we want to schedule interviews with a variety of public access stations as we improve our resume, and on a very small scale recruit select individuals to collaborate with us on future projects.

JB Talent Group's current goals:

1) Photo Shoots
2) Update Resumes
3) Video Interviews
4) Create Blogs
5) Build Email List
6) Throw a Mixer (a showcase of our work)
7) Produce Music
8) Recruit Talent

The treatments to "Break Free" and "Rise or Fall" will be sent next week to your @JBTalent.Info inbox.

If you need specifics please call me directly on wed. I have no meeting schedule that day so i can take incoming calls.

Thank You

I edited this article a few weeks ago, but the process is real simple, their is an email that we send out that is formatted as an interview questionnaire, in this process we ask for them to submit photos that we may use for a blog, its all templated, but here is an example.

I think its good to know the stories of talent we may be working with prior to any productions, plus it helps us gauge their level of commitment without us over extending ourselves.

Using media for a very well product placed ad:

  • http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/category/lexus-music-uncovered/ (Please browse both the behind the scenes photos and the exclusive video. I believe within MECA Entertainment, STUDENTdirect Productions, and STUDENTdirect Publications we are at par with them or even slightly divergently better in our behind the scenes photo content - we are after all highlighting students doing the same work as the professionals. Consider us lucky and hardworking. As for the exclusive video great story that caters to our curiosity, but also demonstrates a very well masked product placement production. Ive been advocating some of these techniques for the longest in regards to STUDENTlife's coverage of community events. We are getting there but not quite there yet, either way we are going in the right direction.)

Music Related:

  • http://poptent.rumblefish.com/ (In regards to music licensing, etc. as how it effects STUDENTdirect Productions, etc. such sites as the one mentioned may offer alternative solutions, so our creatives can be creative and not consumed by legal or miscommunications/ mismanagement between music producers, etc and project deadlines.)
  • http://www.poptent.com/album/412/important-forms (In regards to legal in media this reference will help coordinators format the appropriate release forms and provide each chapter with the necessary documentation to move forward. In our operation manuals we already have edited releases and agreements that have been in use in past projects and is still in effect.)
  • http://rumblefish.com/index.php (A few more ideas on music and licensing.)
  • http://animoto.com/cause (Make your video cause message stronger.)

    Sports Related:

    1. http://www.maxpreps.com/photo/photographers.aspx?photographerid=ea8a2dc9-8d4f-4262-99a6-1f7803564500 (We are, already in this direction at Eagle Rock High School, thanks to our ERHS Initiating Community Action, chapter. In addition student leadership will be mobilizing students in media classes as STUDENTdirect Volunteers for cohesive media related projects. This is scalabe at other high schools. To set an example we have been documenting students experiences in sports thru our chapters in conjunction with STUDENTdirect Productions and Publications. The experiences are branded as "STUDENTlife" which duplicates and scales what maxpreps has done for years in the arena of sports. This effort is pivotal for the STUDENTdirect Charitable Foundation in regards to its upcoming pr campaign.)

In reference to a STUDENTdirect.TV network:

    • www.KoldCast.TV (In reference to students submitting content we will be utilizing something similar, but this is good to be familiar with since I feel it is something that will become more popular with main stream studios and producers in Hollywood. To better prepare students, in the future we will be leveraging STUDENTdirect.TV to meet our needs in the distribution, marketing, and management of content.)

Quotes You have my sincere gratitude for providing MECA Entertainment with a donation to help support and fund our company operations. MECA Entertainment covers all aspects of Music, Film and Photography and provides networking and intern openings for artists to express and build their artistic visions. Your contribution is beneficial because it helps us with our ever expanding equipment costs, company expansion and in creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for our clients and members. Art is such an important outlet for the youth and having the proper tools to provide them with opportunities to grow is important. In addition to your donation, we value your continuous effort in referring potential interns for our program. Thank you for believing in our work, we're grateful. Quotes

Quotes Think about it, what student wouldn't want a place where they can get funding for their endeavors, meet new people, volunteer in their communities and be hands-on in planning events and watching them flourish. Students will develop a sense of gratification, and ultimately self realization and fulfillment. Also, STUDENT direct Org is a multi-million dollar business/idea. You can imagine the prestige you'll acquire by founding STUDENT direct Org on your campus. It looks great on a resume and it will provide you with a first-hand experience of leadership that textbooks can't offer. So the message is simple....START STUDENT direct Org on your campus. Quotes
