Fountain Valley High School hosted it's first annual "Culture Fair". The event was a collaboration of the student clubs on campus of which each contributed greatly for a successful event.
The variety of ethnic food, drinks, and performances provided guests with a glimpse into the different cultures and traditions that exist in the world.
Natalie Tran has worked very hard in getting her group, Invisible Children Club organized for this event. Invisible Children is an awareness project done by Natalie Tran and her fellow students. Natalie is also a representative of the STUDENT direct Organization at Fountain Valley High School.
Alongside Natalie, we had a chance to meet the support team that made all the arrangements happen. The support team included:
We spoke to several clubs in order to get their opinion of the event. This is what they had to say, "Very culturally diversed ceremony that not only celebrates the clubs, but everyone as well." Tae Duong, Photo journalist for the Baronz Banne Newsletter.
"A lot of fun so far" Kenneth Kramer, Spokesperson of the Anime Club
There were many groups present that day as everyone had a lot to offer. Aside from Invisible Children, we learned about Operation Smile another cause supported by a student club. In the future, the STUDENT direct Organization Fountain Valley High, chapter will look into supporting this group through the STUDENTdirect Charitable Foundation.
In the weeks to come, STUDENTdirect Publications will be following up with these different groups in order to bring you more awareness in regards to events, service projects, socials, workshops, and membership.
